Join The Beacon for Thursday Shine the Light, as we bring our voices to the street every Thursday from 12:30-1:00 PM.

Each week, we make our voices heard wherever we are. As beacons, we shine light by making a sign and bringing it outside.

In the face of increasing violence against people in Minneapolis and throughout the country by ICE agents, we stand together to express our disapproval of our government's brutality.

Together, we are building visible resistance and organized compassion, meeting our neighbors, and joining together in acts of solidarity. We find joy in resistance through community, music, comedy and street theater.

There are Beacon groups all over the USA. Our local Great Neck group meets every Thursday from 5:30-6:00 pm.
