EOC - "ENCOURAGING OUR CHILDREN"

On Thursday, April 30, 2026, Manhasset-Great Neck Economic Opportunity Council will host their Annual Fundraising Gala at Leonard’s Palazzo in Great Neck, New York. This event brings together community leaders, families, and supporters for an evening celebrating service, impact, and hope. Proceeds from the Gala directly will support Manhasset Great Neck EOC’s programs, including a full-year Head Start program, an afterschool program and food pantry, at-r.isk teen initiatives, and our summer youth program. The Manhasset Great Neck EOC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization

Proceeds from the Gala directly support the Summer Youth Program, a 6 week full day program for youth 7 - 12 years of age. Breakfast, Lunch and a snack are provided daily. The youth participate in STEM activities, basketball, swimming, tennis, crafts and arts. In addition, Manhasset Great Neck EOC has partnered with the Manhasset School District to provide onsite summer help in reading and math for those youth who have a need for this service based on certain criteria determined by the District.
